BALM Gala: Testimonies, Food, & Fellowship

Our gala was a feast of testimonies, food, fellowship, and encouragement! "Very informative program, delicious dinner, great fellowship," said one attendee. People heard about our four engines for disciple-making: Metro Baltimore Seminary, Church Renewal, Micro-Churches, and Baltimore Sports Academy.

Our deepest thanks to Board member Stacey Allen, who coordinated and helped execute the event, and her daughters Karis, Gabrielle, and Nila, who helped with the evening’s logistics. Music was provided by Mark and Becky McMillan and Pastor Stan. Our new part-time Executive Assistant Tracy Taylor helped organize us, and Ruby Slipper catering fed us at cost! Valley Presbyterian Church graciously hosted our event. We are also grateful for the Haywood family, who helped underwrite the event, as did our table sponsors.

Emcee Tracey Tiernan spoke with grace and truth and led us in an amazing rendition of "Amazing Grace." Her husband (and our long-time friend) Gary Coiro summed up the evening.

Pastor Jeremy Dickson of Freedom Church received BALM's first Strategic Kingdom Service Award for his partnership with us in designating classroom space for Metro Baltimore Seminary at his church. Freedom Church is strategically located near the intersection of 695 and 95--making an affordable, accredited seminary education even more accessible to many.

All attendees received a customized BALM mug, a Fact Sheet and Financial Information about BALM.
